Idaho Star Party
(September 10-12, 2010)

Every year the Boise Astronomical Society presents the Idaho Star Party at the Bruneau Dunes observatory, near Bruneau, Idaho. The link to this year's star party is here. This is always a great event at a site with great dark skies, and interesting presentations.

The star party is held on the Bruneau Dunes State Park which features two cabins, and numerous RV and tent spaces with power and water, and hot showers! It has very good dark skies, although (so called) progress has been brightening their north skies for years, the southern sky is still incredible.
